$300-million manufacturing investment coming to Windsor
Minth Group is investing $300 million in Windsor, Ontario, to build a large new factory that will make parts for electric and hybrid vehicles. The first phase includes a 379,415 sq. ft. facility on 54 acres of land, creating 1,099 new jobs in the Windsor-Essex region. The project is getting up to $40 million in support from the Ontario government and help from the City of Windsor through its Community Improvement Plan. Mayor Drew Dilkens says this investment will boost the local economy and help make Windsor a leader in future vehicle innovation.
